Home Sharing for Music in iOS 9

Apple will be bringing a major change in the home sharing for music in the coming version of iOS. Since people found it difficult to share music on iOS 8.4, the company decided to bring it back on the iOS 9. The revelation was done on Eddy Cue, company’s SVP of Internet Software and Services on his official twitter account.

Home sharing usually allows the owner to stream any content of iTunes. Be it videos, movies or music, the stream content can be accessed over other iOS devices such as iPhone, iPod or iPad that are connected to a WiFi network. Through streaming, the possibility of shared iTunes content will reduce the added burden of buying from iTunes.

The iOS 8.4 users can anyhow still stream the iTunes content through the Apple TV. They can also enjoy the free music service by Cupertino. But if you want to home share your large collection of music, then you will have to wait for Apple’s new iOS 9.
