What does the Fitbit Activity Wristband do?

Fitbit is a new personal fitness product that will pleasantly surprise you. Every human being is different and so are their fitness needs and preferences. There has been a considerable growth in the digital fitness area in recent years. Most people have the topic of weight gain or weight loss in their everyday conversations and they all want to know if they are eating right and getting enough exercise to stay fit.

The Fitbit wristband is essentially a rubber band with an inbuilt sensor, but is very stylish. It comes in many appealing colors so that you can color coordinate it with your exercise outfits. It’s a smart band that tracks the number of steps you take during the day, how many calories you burn and also keeps track of sleep patterns. In addition, the Fitbit is absolutely waterproof. You can now track all your fitness related activities 24/7!

The Fitbit also has inbuilt technology for motivation. It has 5 LED lights that blink as you near the goal you have set. The Fitbit also has a soft ‘silent’ alarm to wake you.

All the data accumulated from the band and into the app can be integrated and shared with existing fitness apps like Runkeeper or MyFitnessPlan. So now your data can even be analyzed to give you feedback on your fitness related activities!
